FRIENDS OF LITTLE VICTORIES
As of April, 2012, Little Victories has served our community for nine years. It is time now to make plans to insure the future of our No Kill shelter--to finish building, buy equipment, establish an endowment fund, and so forth. To this end, we are forming a group called Friends of Little Victories. The purpose of this group is to ensure that years from now, we will still have a no kill shelter and that there will be buildings and equipment and money for staff and maintenance and care of our animals.
We are unique in that we are the largest No Kill shelter in our state and one of only a handful of any kind throughout our state.
What do you get from joining a group like this? You get to socialize and share your passion for animals with others. You are allowed to develop deep, personal and enduring relationships with other members of the community that you might not otherwise have met. The group gives you opportunities to discover, serve, and support Little Victories in ways that are meaningful, creative, and even fun!! The friendships you develop from groups like this will last a lifetime.
And most important of all, the lives you save of hundreds or thousands of animals is a legacy that cannot be replaced by any other experience. You will be one of the leaders in deciding how our community treats its weakest members--its animals. You will be their voice, their advocate, their supporter, and their friend.
Only you can decide where Huntington, Barboursville, Milton, and our other communities will stand on making this a place where we can raise our kids and teach them about humane care. Only you can make a difference!!!
