Little Victories Animal Rescue
Little Victories seeks an energetic and transformative leader to serve as a full-time Director. The Director is responsible for providing visionary leadership to the organization while acting as a spokesperson within the community. Primary responsibilities include organizing fundraising, cultivating and managing volunteer efforts, and grant writing.
The Director will also be responsible for oversight of overall shelter and will develop and implement budgets, procedures, and strategies to deliver responsible animal care; promote organization to public; develop strategies for adoption of shelter animals; build partnerships with other animal advocacy groups in the region; supervision of Site Manager; and work cooperatively with staff and volunteers to ensure achievement of Little Victories' mission.
Qualifications: The candidate should have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a management position with transferable skills. The successful applicant will have strong interpersonal skills to build partnerships with community organizations and establish relationships with patrons, foundations and local businesses. Other preferred skills include leadership, management, financial, and problem-solving. Experience in fundraising or a paid/volunteer position with a shelter preferred.
