Ice-T

ESTIMATED AGE: 3 months
GENDER: Male
SIZE: Estimated medium to large

✅ Good with dogs
✅ Good with cats
✅ Good with kids
❌ House trained
✅ Crate trained

What my friends at Little Victories say about me:
Ice-T is one cool puppy — friendly, social, and full of happy energy! This playful guy has all the wiggles and spunk you would expect from a young pup, but with some surprisingly great manners, too. He keeps his crate clean, minimizes puppy messes, and adores being handled. Whether he's zooming around or snuggling up for attention, Ice-T is the perfect combo of fun and sweet.

The best kind of home for Ice-T:
Ice-T is looking for a family ready to learn and grow along with him. His adoption fee covers everything he needs to start life on the right paw: his mandatory neuter, all first-year vaccines, and lots of love from our staff until he finds his forever home. His adopter should be ready for the lifelong committment of owning a puppy and the ups and downs that come with that choice.

Carter

ESTIMATED AGE: 5 years
GENDER: Male
SIZE: Large, 62 lbs

✅ Good with dogs
✅ Good with cats

✅ Good with older kids
✅ House trained
✅ Crate trained

What my friends at Little Victories say about me:
Carter is a big, soft, ball of love! This guy loves nothing more than to be near his people.. except maybe a good roll in the grass. He is social, friendly, and loves to sit at your feet while you gently stroke his soft coat. He is curious when it comes to new friends (both human and animal) and will steal hearts in no time. His favorite games include shredding plushies, chasing balls, and just being near a familiar friend.

The best kind of home for Carter:
This guy could be your future adventure buddy! Carter has previously done well with other dogs and lived with cats successfully. He can be anxious when confined, but our behavior team can help with tips to ease that stress. He is known to play rough sometimes, so we recommend older children for this big guy. Carter likes to inhale his meals, so we recommend a slow feeder bowl to prevent vomitting and other issues.

Cicada

ESTIMATED AGE: 1 year
GENDER: Male
SIZE: Large, 80 lbs

✅ Good with kids

What my friends at Little Victories say about me:
He's big, he's cuddly, and you're going to love him. Cicada came to Little Victories as a stray, so we have a lot to learn about him. We do, however, know he has one of the sweetest personalities of any dog we've met. He loves to be near people, spending most of his days lounging and observing what the people around him are up to. There is still a lot to learn about this boy, but we also know the best place to learn about him is from in a home!

The best kind of home for Cicada:
Cicada is a big dog, but he is mostly very calm and easy-going. He can be insecure in new environments, but he remains sweet and receptive to affection even when uneasy. Cicada would love a family where he can grow into the best version of himself.

Felix

ESTIMATED AGE: 3 years
GENDER: Male
SIZE: Medium, 53 lbs

✅ Good with dogs
✅ Good with kids
❌ House trained
Crate trained

What my friends at Little Victories say about me:
Felix is so full of personality, you can't help but love him! This guy loves a good game of fetch and will quickly befriend anyone with a ball. He has a big bark and lots to say, but Felix has never met a stranger. He is full of spunky energy and would love a home where he can play and go on adventures.

The best kind of home for Felix:
Felix will make a great dog for someone willing to guide him. He is great with other dogs. He does have a fluffy double coat that will require some basic maintenance to keep him comfortable and your home free of hair. Felix will need some help with house training, but his previous owner said he did well under normal circumstances. With some patience and guidance, we expect he would learn very quickly.

Molly

ESTIMATED AGE: 10 months
GENDER: Female
SIZE: Large, 60 lbs

✅ Good with dogs
✅ Good with kids
✅ Good with cats
❌ House trained

What my friends at Little Victories say about me:
Molly is a striking boxer mix with a playful streak and a bright white face that’s full of expression. She’s affectionate and social once she feels comfortable, and she loves a good game of fetch. Like her sister Sally, Molly is still learning the basics of leash walking, house training, and living indoors, but she’s catching on quickly. She has lived with another dog and a cat and done well with both.

The best kind of home for Molly:
Molly will thrive in a home that gives her the time and support to grow her confidence. She’s a curious and active dog who would enjoy regular playtime and mental stimulation. Another friendly dog could be a great match for her energy, and while she hasn’t been tested with children, she may do well with older, respectful kids. With a little patience, Molly will become a fun, loyal companion ready for adventure.

Lucy

ESTIMATED AGE: 6 months
SIZE: Medium (33 lbs)
GENDER: Female
✅ Good with dogs
✅ Good with kids
✅ Crate trained
❌ House trained

What my friends at Little Victories say about me:
Lucy is full of that classic puppy charm: goofy, curious, and so ready to learn about the world! She’s still working on her basic manners, house training, and social skills, but what she lacks in experience, she makes up for in affection. Life with Lucy will be an adventure of discovery — finding her favorite games, teaching her new tricks, and building a bond that will last a lifetime. Lucy is at the perfect age to grow into the companion she was meant to be. All she needs is a little guidance and a lot of love.

The best kind of home for Lucy:
Lucy is young and ready to learn. She will make a great family dog for someone willing to invest in teaching this cutie how to be the best version of herself. Lucy is great with other dogs but has not yet been tested around cats. She has been around small children, but she will need some help with housetraining.

Zuma

ESTIMATED AGE: 1 year
SIZE: Large (75 lbs)
GENDER: Male

✅ Plays well with some other dogs
✅ Will chase but does not harm cats
✅ Good with kids but is rowdy and rough
✅ Crate trained
❌ House trained

What my friends at Little Victories say about me:
Zuma is great big pup who loves to play, cuddle, walk, and nap! Zuma would be such a fun adventure dog to take on hikes or on outdoor journeys. He has a lot of learning to do, so Zuma will need an adopter committed to working with and teaching a young dog new tricks. Even more than that, Zuma needs to learn how to exist in the world. He loves everyone he meets, but growing up in the shelter takes a toll on a pup's development.

The best kind of home for Zuma:
Like any young dog, Zuma will require a committed family who can work with him to become the best boy he can be. Zuma is reactive to other dogs and will get worked up when he sees them, but he can very easily be redirected. He does, however, do very well interacting with select other dogs. He has tested well with cats but can be rambunctious if left to his own devices. He needs some guidance and to learn basic obedience and manners. Our staff will give any potential adopter advice on how to best set Zuma up for success.

Baron

ESTIMATED AGE: 2 years
GENDER: Female
SIZE: Medium, 46 lbs

What my friends at Little Victories say about me:
Baron is smart, spunky, and full of playful energy! He lives for a good game of tug or fetch and can’t wait to find a family who’s excited to play and build a strong bond with him. He is a lively pup with plenty to say, but he is always friendly and eager to meet new people. Baron walks beautifully on a leash, is well-mannered in public, and loves to be near people.

The best kind of home for Baron:
Baron would likely do best in a home looking for a more active pup. He will need more than a walk around the neighborhood to be fulfilled on a daily basis. He is great with kids who don’t mind his energetic nature but needs human friends who will respect his space. Baron can be testy with handling (nail trims, etc.), so small children may not be the best fit for him.

Winnie

ESTIMATED AGE: 2 years
GENDER: Female
SIZE: Medium, 40 lbs

❌ Cat friendly
✅ House/crate trained

What my friends at Little Victories say about me:
Winnie loves people SO much. She is very excited and wiggly to see a new friend or an old friend and loves to have all your attention. She does very well at the vet and on car rides. Winnie's favorite games include playing tug and fetch and just being near her people. She walks very well on a leash and loves to do tricks for treats. Her former foster family said Winnie is a lap dog who just wants to be wherever you are.

The best kind of home for Winnie:
Winnie was found as a stray, so we do not know much about her history or where she came from. She would not be a good fit for a home with cats.

Oso

ESTIMATED AGE: 4 years
GENDER: Male
SIZE: Large, 70 lbs

✅ Dog selective
✅ Cat friendly
✅ Friendly with all ages
✅ House/Crate trained

What my friends at Little Victories say about me:
This big bear of a dog cannot wait to find his people: Meet Oso! He is a big, playful guy who has never met a stranger. Oso is always friendly with people of all ages. He loves going for car rides and playing games of tug. He is a proper gentleman on a leash, and he loves to just be near his favorite people. He has bundles of energy just waiting for someone to play and take him for adventures!

The best kind of home for Oso:
Oso is an active dog who craves more than a neighborhood walk to be fulfilled. He loves to play games of tug and to chase around his toys. He would be great for an adopter looking to be active with a large dog. Oso is very clean in his space, never making messes or being destructive with bedding. He does best with female dogs, but may prefer to be the king of his castle. His previous family said he did well with cats when supervised.

Fitz

Estimated age: 6 years
Gender: Male
Size: Medium, 45 lbs

✅ Loves other dogs
✅ Lived with cats
❌ Kid friendly
✅ House/crate trained

* In a foster home with professional dog trainers

What my foster family says about me:
Fitz is a goofy, playful boy who loves tug-of-war and going on long, sniffy walks. In foster care, he’s been working on basic skills like leash walking and recall, and he’s doing great! Fitz can be a bit timid with strangers in the home, but with proper introductions, he warms up quickly. He settles beautifully in his crate and is motivated by both food and toys. Fitz thrives in a multi-dog household and would be a wonderful addition to the right family.

The best kind of home for Fitz:
Fitz will do best in an adult-only home, as young children can make him nervous. He would love to have canine companions and truly shines when he has dog friends around. He also does very well with cats. To help him transition smoothly, Fitz’s adopters will receive free training sessions from Mountain Mutts LLC, where they’ll learn his favorite games and how to make daily life fun and rewarding. Fitz is an easy-going pup with so much love to give, and he’s ready to find his perfect fit.

Cloud

Estimated age: 12 years
Size: XL, 83 lbs
Gender: Male
Time at Little Victories: 1 year
❌ Kid friendly
❌ House trained

❌ Crate trained

What my friends at Little Victories say about me:
Cloud is quite the character of an old man! He loves to be outside and to have lots of space to just exist in the outdoors. He really loves a good chew toy and can be cuddly when he wants to be. He can also be extremely grumpy when he is uncomfortable, and Cloud has a tough time adjusting to confined spaces. He is a Great Pyrenees whose personality is very typical of the breed. Cloud was born to guard livestock, so when he claims a space, he will defend it from anyone he does not trust. He is an old man, but he is not suitable for life as just a couch potato pet dog.

The best kind of home for Cloud:
Cloud came from farm life and would love to spend the rest of his days doing what he knows. The best home for Cloud will be with someone who has experience with livestock guardian breeds. He loves to be outside and would do well in an outdoor environment, but Cloud is not suitable for an apartment.

Luna

Estimated age: 4 years
Size: Medium, 50 lbs
Gender: Female
Time at LV: 1 year

✅ Lived with other dogs
✅ Does well with cats

❌ Better in homes without children
✅ House/crate trained

What my friends at LV say about me:
Luna is sweet, affectionate, and full of personality once she trusts you. She prefers a close circle of human friends — quality over quantity! Luna is spunky and energetic, but she’s just as happy to curl up for a nap after a satisfying chew session. She absolutely lives for treats, especially watermelon, and she’s quick to win hearts once she feels safe. Luna has lived with other dogs but can be a bit particular with her canine companions. She will thrive with people who give her space to come out of her shell at her own pace.

The best kind of home for Luna:
Luna needs a calm, adult-only home where introductions are slow and respectful of her boundaries. Her ideal adopter will be patient and willing to earn her trust over time. While she can coexist with other dogs, she may prefer being the only pup. Luna also has exocrine pancreatic insufficiency (EPI), a manageable condition that affects her ability to digest food properly. She takes daily supplements and medication, and with consistent care, she has done beautifully. Luna is ready to share her love and loyalty with someone who sees her for the gem she truly is.

Maddox

Estimated age: 2 years
Size: Medium, 45 lbs
Gender: Male
Time at LV: 1 year

Loves other playful dogs
❌ No kids for this guy
❌ House trained
✅ Crate trained

What my friends at Little Victories say about me:
Maddox is young, outgoing, and full of spunky energy! He is hugely food motivated, playful, and loves to learn new things, but Maddox is very wary of strangers. His favorite things are playing with his dog friends and playing tug. He spent most of his formative months in the shelter, so he will need lots of structure and guidance to learn to adapt to home life. Maddox craves affection, but he is pent up and needs a VERY slow introduction to new people.

The best kind of home for Maddox:
Maddox has a lot of pent up excitement in the shelter. He is extremely teachable and willing to learn, especially for food, but Maddox will likely require professional training. He will need someone who can read his cues and interact with him respectfully until he is comfortable. Without taking it at his pace, Maddox is a bite risk. His best chance would be with an enthusiastic adopter willing to teach an active young dog new things like how to calmly ask for affection and exist in a busy world. He plays very well with other dogs but has not been tested with cats.

Molly

Estimated age: 4 years
Gender: Female
Size: Medium, 65 pounds
Time at LV: 2 years

❌ Dog friendly
✅ Happily lived with cats
✅ Teenager friendly
✅ House/crate trained

What my friends at Little Victories say about me:

Molly is a playful, affectionate girl with a big personality. She absolutely loves people and is especially fond of cuddles, belly rubs, and playtime with her favorite ball. While she does best with older children who understand her strength and energy, she is a true people-lover through and through. Molly needs clear guidance and structure to thrive. While she cannot live with other dogs, she’s been making wonderful progress with leash manners and impulse control thanks to consistent training and enrichment.

The best kind of home for Molly:
Molly will thrive in a home where she is the only dog and her people are committed to giving her the direction she craves. She would do especially well in a quieter, more rural setting where she can enjoy walks with fewer distractions. Molly is food-motivated, eager to learn, and responds beautifully to direction and guidance. With continued training and plenty of love, she is sure to be an incredibly loyal and rewarding companion.

Paisley

Estimated age: 5 years
Size: Medium, 50 pounds
Gender: Female
Time at LV: 2 years

❌ Dog friendly
❌ Cat friendly
❌ Kid friendly
 House trained
Crate trained

What my friends at Little Victories say about me:

Pretty Paisley loves attention and booty scratches from everyone she meets and is always happy to see a human friend. Some of her favorite activities include: playing tug, short adventure walks, and chasing the flirt pole. Paisley is full of energy and excitement, to say the least. She settles well in a kennel, but she loves being active. Paisley will make an excellent addition to an active-dog home (meaning her family actively spends productive time with her on a daily basis).

The best kind of home for Paisley:
Paisley gets very easily over-aroused, so we do not recommend her for a family with children. She has extreme prey drive and will chase small animals. Developing an off switch for her excited state will be very beneficial for her future family. Our staff has done a lot of work already developing this, and she has made great strides. She has a lot of energy that will require more fulfillment than daily neighborhood walks (examples: playing tug or with a flirt/spring pole, obedience training). Paisley will be a great dog for a family that can keep up her active lifestyle and manage her quirks.

Kai

Estimated age: 10 years
Size: Medium, 35 lbs
Gender: Female
Time at LV: 1 year

✅ Likes to play with other dogs
❌ Kid friendly
⚠️ Climbs fences

What my friends at Little Victories say about me:
This girl is the best car buddy you can ask for. Kai is such a funny dog who will keep you entertained all day! Kai has some nervousness around strangers and prefers people who respect her space upon first meeting. She will be your buddy as long as you give her time to adjust! Once Kai gets to know you she is goofy, playful, vocal, independent, loves scratches, and still has a touch of mischief like she did when she was young.

The best kind of home for Kai:
Kai will make a great companion for someone willing to give her the space she asks for. She is sweet, silly, and cuddly once familiar, but she will lash out at a stranger. Kai does well with other dogs (meet and greet required) but should not live with young children. She is known to climb fences and should not be left outside unsupervised. Kai will need a home where her space is respected and affection comes on her terms. An ideal adopter will be an advocate for her in public settings and will keep strangers out of her space.

Jett

Estimated age: 7 years
Size: Medium, 45 lbs
Gender: Male
Time at LV: 2 years

❌ Dog friendly
Cat friendly
Older kid friendly but better with adults
House/crate trained

What my friends at Little Victories say about me:

Jett is a sweet hound dog with a big hound dog bark! This guy is such a sweetheart to the people he knows and trusts. Jett loves to go for long sniffy walks, but his favorite activity is a good cuddle. He enjoys a familiar friend, walks, eating, getting snuggles, and sniffing around in the play yard. His unique howls are a welcome song around the farm. He is still pretty anxious in the shelter despite spending more than a year here, but long walks help ease his stress.

The best kind of home for Jett:
Jett is a unique guy who will need a special family willing to let him fit in at his pace. He is very sweet but needs time to learn to trust the people around him. Jett has had a couple resource guarding issues since being in our care and should not live with other animals or young children. He mostly wants to spend his time sniffing around and being a hound dog!

Axton

Estimated age: 5 years
Size: Large, 70 lbs
Gender: Male
Time at LV: 2 years

✅ Great with dogs
✅ Loves people of all ages

House trained (but would learn quickly)
✅ Crate trained
⚠️ Climbs fences

What my friends at Little Victories say about me:
Axton is the first dog to say “hello” at Little Victories. He is a big excitable boy who loves people and getting lots of pets and affection. He is a very fun dog who will have loads of spunk for his future family to teach him new things! Axton shines in public and loves to be anywhere the people are. He is food-motivated and loves to play with other dogs.

The best kind of home for Axton:
Axton’s future family should be ready to take home a massive cuddle bug! He has spent more than two years in the shelter, so adjusting to home life will take time, decompression, and patience. It will be a big change for him, but we know he will thrive given plenty of time and space to settle. Axton will be such a fun dog for anyone willing to put a little time into teaching him the basics. He is great with other dogs and would be best with older children who can respect his space when he asks for it.

Pedro

Estimated age: 8 years
Size: Large
Gender: Male
Time at LV: 6 years

Dog selective
❌ Cat friendly
✅ Older-kid friendly
⚠️ Home visit may be required

What my friends at Little Victories say about me:
This fluffy bear can’t wait for belly rubs every day. Pedro is a big guy who loves adults and having lots of room to run and play. Pedro likes going for walks and playing with toys — balls are his favorite, especially large herding balls! He loves rolling around on his back and, like most malamutes, will serenade you with his singing voice. He is such a ham and will give you the puppy eyes for snacks, walks, and scratches. Fun fact: Pedro has been breed DNA tested and is a Siberian Husky, Alaskan Malamute, Beagle mix!

The best kind of home for Pedro:
Pedro needs a home without cats or small children, but he is OK with select other dogs (meet and greet required). He loves being outdoors! This big guy needs a strong owner who can handle his size. He is not suitable for apartment life and would do best with a securely fenced yard. Pedro will fit right in with a family ready to take him on adventures and lots of car rides!

Bart

Estimated age: 12 years
Size: Large, 95 lbs
Gender: Male
Time at LV: 7 years

Dog friendly but will guard resources
❌ Cat friendly
✅ Older kid friendly
✅ House/Crate trained

What my friends at Little Victories say about me:
Dancing boy Bart does the cutest happy dance when he is excited! He loves taking sniffy walks and enjoys lounging around in a big yard. Watch his ears bounce as he trots along beside you! He is a big, senior guy who won't require much in terms of burning energy. Mostly Bart just wants to hang out! He likes to keep his things -- toys, treats, bedding -- to himself, so he will certainly need a forever home that can be careful around coveted items.

The best kind of home for Bart:
Bart is a big goofy guy who would ideally love to be the only king in his castle. Although he could potentially live with select dogs, he needs an adopter who can separate him from other animals in the house during meal times or when he has a special chew, toy, or valuable item. This could look like giving him his own room to eat/have special bones in or putting him in a crate. He is a semi-active guy who would do well in a laid back home. He has lived at LV for more than four years, so time to adjust will be essential for this handsome guy!

Sadie

Estimated age: 12 years
Size: Medium, 43 lbs
Gender: Female
Time at LV: 9 years

Dog friendly
❌ Cat friendly
Kid friendly
✅ House trained
✅ Crate trained

What my friends at Little Victories say about me:
Sadie lives for attention and sneaking bites of your snacks. She is always ready to say hello to a human friend! Sadie is the queen of spunk. She is a senior, but she has lots of energy and loves to play. After seven years in the shelter, Sadie would love to find a place to relax for the rest of her days.

The best kind of home for Sadie:
Sadie should not live with other animals as she has had altercations with other dogs. She does well with adults, but she should not live with children due to her excitability and anxiousness. She is house trained and walks well on a leash. Sadie will be a great dog in a home where she can be the star, and she would love a place to live out her senior years.

Bolt

Estimated age: 15 years
Size: Large, 90 lbs
Gender: Male
Time at LV: 6 years

✅ Dog selective
❌ Cat friendly
❌ Kid friendly

❌ House trained
⚠️ Requires long-term medication (arthritis)

⚠️ May require home visit
⚠️ Hospice - terminally ill

What my friends at Little Victories say about me:
Bolt is in his final months of life. He has a cancerous mass on his liver and is not healthy enough for surgery. Bolt has a hard time getting around, but this guy is so sweet and lovable. His ideal final days would be spent exploring a fenced-in yard with a comfy place to rest when he is tired. This big, sweet boy needs a place to spend the rest of his life in comfort. He may not get around well, but Bolt loves to walk and sniff and explore in very short bursts.

The best kind of home for Bolt:
Bolt would do best as an only pet, but he could work with select dogs if fed separately. He would love a hospice home with a big fenced yard to explore. As an older dog, he does best with people who respect his space and don’t force his attention.

Sasha

Estimated age: 14 years
Size: Medium, 40 lbs
Gender: Female
Time at LV: 14 years

✅ Dog selective
❌ Cat friendly
❌ Kid friendly

✅ House trained
⚠️ Special needs (Deafness)
⚠️ May require home visit

What my friends at Little Victories say about me:
Sasha is always happy to see people she knows in the morning! Because she can't hear you coming (she is deaf), you can often catch her in the cutest positions snoozing away without a care in the world. She has spent most of her life at Little Victories, so she will need a lot of patience to transition into home life. She loves to play with toys and go for walks, but this old lady really just wants to hang out! She would love to do so in a home for the rest of her days.

The best kind of home for Sasha:
Sasha is deaf and needs a family that can handle a special-needs senior. She needs a house with no kids, but she could possibly live with another dog if the environment is correct. Mostly Sasha just needs a place to relax for whatever amount of time she has left.
