Maximus

Estimated age: 1 year
Size: Medium, 40 lbs
Gender: Male
Time at LV: Less than 1 month
 Dog friendly
Kid friendly
❌ House trained

What my friends at Little Victories say about me:
Maximus is full of energy and loves to run and play! He will make a great adventure dog for his future family. Maximus loves a good scratch, and to destroy all the fluffy toys she can find. He is an incredibly photogenic dog, and he loves to pose for the camera!

The best kind of home for Maximus:
Maximus would really thrive in a home with husky/husky mix experience or with someone willing to provide leadership to an energetic, independent, goofy dog. He plays well with other dogs, but we require a meet and greet with any others in the home before adoption.

Paisley

Estimated age: 3 years
Size: Medium, 50 pounds
Gender: Female
Time at LV: Less than 1 month
✅ Dog selective
❌ Cat friendly
❌ Kid friendly (Teenagers OK)
 House trained
Crate trained

What my friends at Little Victories say about me:
Paisley is full of energy and excitement! She settles well in a kennel, but she loves being active. Tug is her favorite game, and Little Victories is working to teach her how to drop the toy on command to make sure the game is safe and enjoyable for everyone. Paisley will make an excellent pet for an active-dog home (meaning her family actively spends productive time with her on a daily basis). She is never destructive with her toys or bedding and has not had any accidents in her kennel.

The best kind of home for Paisley:
Paisley gets very easily overaroused, so we do not reccomend her for a family with small children. She will need help learning to walk nicely on a leash as she is very strong and is reactive to small animals. Developing an off switch for her excited state will be very beneficial for her future family. She has a lot of energy that will require more fulfillment than daily neighborhood walks (examples: playing tug or with a flirt/spring pole, obedience training). Paisley will be a great pet dog with a family that can keep up her active lifestyle.

Crane

Estimated age: 1 year
Gender: Male
Size: Medium, 40 pounds
Time at LV: 1 month
✅ Dog friendly
✅ Kid friendly

Crate trained
House trained

What my friends at Little Victories say about me:
Crane is all goofy hound dog on a very long set of legs. He is one of the silliest dogs we've ever seen, from his hound dog cries to the way he stretches himself across the floor. Crane is very energetic and loves to run (especially if there's something to chase). He is extremely sociable with people, and he rarely meets a stranger. Crane loves to bounce and play, and he has the best high-stepping prance in town.

The best kind of home for Crane:
Crane likes to roam, so a family willing to continue his crate training would be ideal. He has a lot of hound dog energy, meaning he wants to explore, run, and get his nose on anything he can. Crane is not fully house trained, but he shouldn't be hard to teach. He does well with other dogs but should meet any potential dog siblings before adoption. Although he does like to jump on any and everyone around him, Crane would do well with children who can handle his excitement.

Vash (Foster only)

Estimated age: 2 years
Size: Large, 73 lbs
Gender: Male
Time at LV: 7 months
✅ Dog selective
❌ Kid friendly
✅ Crate trained

What my friends at Little Victories say about me:
Vash came to us as an owner surrender because he developed littermate syndrome with his sibling -- a common source of serious behavioral issues when puppies are raised together. Vash was extremely fearful and shutdown upon intake. He was defensive in the kennel and and extremely fearful of staff, causing him to have aggressive outbursts. His adoptability was in question for a long time as we moved him to a kennel with minimal staff interaction for our safety. After months of taking things slowly and carefully, Vash gradually became more comfortable and confident with staff he trusts. He loves to play with toys and is very food motivated. He does extremely well on routine veterinary visits, and he overall is a great dog. Vash loves taking long sniffy walks with a long line and is great at taking direction when he trusts you.

The best kind of foster home for Vash:
Vash has a very long road ahead of him as far as behavioral development and learning to cope with new environments. He is only available for foster and cannot be adopted. As he meets and becomes more comfortable with new people and new environments, we know this dog has great potential. Vash will require a foster who is experienced with fearfully aggressive dogs. This person should be committed to providing the structure, boundaries, and continued training Vash needs to have a better quality of life. His foster must be willing to continue his behavioral rehabilitation. Our resident trainers at Mountain Mutts have done most of the work with him so far, and they will gladly continue that work with Vash's foster family. Vash must continue receiving professional help, or an application will not be approved. The future is so bright for this dog with the right person. He will do better as the only dog or in a highly structured situation with another dog. We do not know if he is house trained or how well he does with cats. He should not be around children.

Duke

Estimated age: 2 years
Size: Medium, 50 lbs
Gender: Male
Time at LV: 2 months
✅ Dog friendly
✅ Kid friendly

✅ Crate trained
House trained

What my friends at Little Victories say about me:
Duke is a pretty easy, young dog. He is unproblematic as far as behavior, but he is nervous in new situations and with new people. Duke was recently returned to LV after a year due to his family's changing circumstances.

The best kind of home for Duke:
Duke would thrive in an active home with a family who likes hiking or running. His anxieties could greatly benefit from an active lifestyle. He does well with other dogs but should meet any potential siblings before adoption. He is crate trained and does well with older kids who can respect his nervousness.

Duncan

Estimated age: 10 months
Size: Medium, 55 lbs
Gender: Male
Time at LV: 2 months
Dog friendly
❌ Cat friendly

✅ Crate trained
✅ Kid friendly
❌
House trained
⚠️ Climbs fences

What my friends at Little Victories say about me:
Duncan is very sweet and affectionate. He does need a little time and neutrality to feel comfortable meeting new people. He is crate trained but sometimes has accidents in his kennel. Pictures barely do this cute face justice.

The best kind of home for Duncan:
Duncan is young and adaptable, so with a family willing to put in the work, he will easily thrive. His nervousness can be greatly helped by investing in training and overall confidence building. He should meet any other dogs in the house before adoption and does not get along with cats. Duncan is not house trained, but he is crate trained.

Rabbit

Estimated age: 6 months
Size: Small, 20 lbs
Gender: Female
Time at LV: 2 months
✅ Dog friendly
✅ Older kid friendly
❌ House trained
✅ Crate trained
⭐ Adoption fee sponsored

What my friends at Little Victories say about me:
Rabbit is a fun little pup who is ready to bounce her way into your heart! She is young, smart, and loves to hop around -- the name really does fit the pup. Rabbit is very food motivated and loves to play with all the toys she can get her mouth on. She is attentive and handler focused when given proper guidance. Rabbit is still learning how to contain her excitement, and she loves to jump up on things and people. This is, however, a very correctable behavior!

The best kind of home for Rabbit:
Rabbit will really thrive in an active home where she can learn to be the best dog she can. She loves watching her handler for instruction and will be such a fun dog to teach! She is very young and will need guidance through the world. She is not quite house trained, but she does very well in a crate. She has not been tested with cats and should meet any other dogs in the home before adoption.

Angel

Estimated age: 8 years
Size: Medium
Gender: Female
Time at LV: 3 months
✅ Dog friendly
✅ Kid friendly
❌ House trained
✅ Crate trained
⭐ Special Needs: Hypothyroidism and pre-diabetic

What my friends at Little Victories say about me:
Angel is a perfect name for this boisterous, sweet dog. She is a senior and has hypothyroidism, but that doesn't slow this girl down a bit. Angel loves toys and going for walks. She's also a very good nap-taker. She is extremely lovable and friendly, and Angel will make a great companion for someone someday.

The best kind of home for Angel:
Angel has hypothyroidism and is pre-diabetic, so she will require medication and a special diet for the rest of her life. She will need an adopter willing to maintain her health care. She is a senior, but she is a young senior with lots of life to give. Angel should meet any other dog in the home before adoption. She is mostly house trained, but she sometimes will have an accident due to excessive water intake when her levels are not regulated. She love people of all ages and is crate trained.

Axton

Estimated age: 3 years
Size: Large, 70 lbs
Gender: Male
Time at LV: 3 months
✅ Dog selective (reactive - see below)
✅ Older kids

House trained
✅ Crate trained

What my friends at Little Victories say about me:
Axton is a big excitable boy. He loves people and getting lots of pets and affection. He is a very fun dog who will have loads of energy for his future family to teach him new things! He does struggle with reactivity toward other dogs and is big and strong. With a proper outlet for his high-drive personality, Axton will shine!

The best kind of home for Axton:
We highly recommend Axton go to a home willing to work with him on basic structure and give him an outlet for his drive. He is very reactive and would benefit from professional training. His future family should be able to handle a very large, reactive dog. He must meet any other dogs in the home before adoption and should only live with older kids who can handle a boisterous dog of his size. Axton would be a very fun dog for anyone willing to put in some time harnessing his energy into a constructive outlet that builds the relationship between handler and dog!

Ink

Estimated age: 1 year
Size: Medium, 65 lbs
Gender: Male
Time at LV: 4 months
✅ Dog friendly
❌ Cat friendly
✅ Older kid friendly
✅ House trained
✅ Crate trained
⭐ Adoption fee partially sponsored

What my friends at Little Victories say about me:
Ink made his way to LV by accident. He and his brother, Ash, were dumped as strays, so we don't know a lot about their histories. Ink is incredibly sweet and playful. He loves to rest his head in your lap while you scratch it. Ink is notorious for consuming anything he can get his mouth on, from heavy-duty rubber toys to blankets/beds and gravel. He will stop if corrected, but he must be supervised or crated for his own safety. Ink loves food and has a great nose!

The best kind of home for Ink:
Ink is young and energetic, so he will need a family who can guide him in the world. He can become overaroused and a bit mouthy, but it is very correctable. Ink should not be left unattended outside of a crate because of his tendency to make anything he sees into a snack. He plays well with others but should meet any potential dog siblings before adoption. He did test positive for E.Canis, so he will continue to test positive for the rest of his life but has been treated. He is house trained and does extremely well in a crate.

Ash

Estimated age: 1 year
Size: Medium, 65 lbs
Gender: Male
Time at LV: 4 months
✅ Dog friendly
❌ Cat friendly
✅ Older kid friendly
⚠️ Climbs fences

What my friends at Little Victories say about me:
Ash made his way to LV by accident. He and his brother, Ink, were dumped as strays, so we don't know a lot about their histories. Ash is incredibly sweet and playful. He is always excited to see you as you approach his kennel and he seems to be a very social dog. He is a bit of an escape artist, so his future owners should take extra precautions and work on teaching him threshold boundaries.

The best kind of home for Ash:
Ash is young and energetic, so he will need a family who can guide him in the world. He can become overaroused and a bit mouthy, but it is very correctable. He plays well with others but should meet any potential dog siblings before adoption. He did test positive for E.Canis, so he will continue to test positive for the rest of his life but has been treated.

Trinity

Estimated age: 12 years
Size: XL, 114 lbs
Gender: Female
Time at LV: 6 years
Dog friendly
Cat friendly
❌ Kid friendly
❌ House trained

⚠️ May require home visit
⚠️ Terminally ill - looking for hospice foster/home

What my friends at Little Victories say about me:
Trinity is very sweet with people and loves to go for walks. She is a very sweet girl who loves to put her head in your lap to rest. She LOVES treats (especially anything chicken-flavored) and takes them very gently. Trinity has liver cancer and will not be with us for much longer. She is living out her days at LV, but she we really love the comfort of a home for her final days, no longer how many there may be.

The best kind of home for Trinity:
Trinity is a big girl and requires a home with no kids or other pets. Potential adopters must have a fenced-in yard to ensure she is well supervised. She has had aggressive episodes with other animals and needs an experienced owner. She is a senior, terminally ill dog, so she is mostly pretty calm and relaxed. An end-of-life foster would be the best gift she could receive.

Max

Estimated age: 2 years
Size: Medium, 50 lbs
Gender: Male
Time at LV: 9 months
✅ Dog friendly
 Older-kid friendly
 Crate trained
❌ House trained

What my friends at Little Victories say about me:
Max is an energetic boy who loves romping in the playfield with his friends! He enjoys going for walks and exploring his environment. Max loves getting belly rubs, but he will sneak out of a gate while you're not looking. He has a lot of energy and will keep his future family busy.

The best kind of home for Max:
Max would thrive in a home with someone who has herding breed experience. He needs an appropriate outlet to express his genetic needs, so an active lifestyle is a must! Max needs some help with basic training, like leash walking, and he is highly food motivated! He has done well with all of the dogs he has met, but he requires a meet and greet with any potential doggy siblings. We are unsure how he does with cats, and we think he would do better with older children.

Sixty

Estimated age: 10 months
Size: Medium, 45 lbs
Gender: Male
Time at LV: 8 months
✅ Dog selective
✅ Cat friendly
✅ Kid friendly
❌ House trained
✅ Crate trained

What my friends at Little Victories say about me:
Found roaming Route 60, our little Sixty is a majorly sweet pup! He is very wiggly and happy to see anyone who crosses his path. Sixty is going through his adolescent period in the shelter, but we just know he's going to be a great adult dog. He can be pushy with other dogs and does not understand most normal dog social cues, so he should not be left unsupervised with other dogs.

The best kind of home for Sixty:
Sixty needs a lot of help learning how to exist in the world, including house training. Like any adolescent pup, he will require a family dedicated to nurturing and teaching him to be a dog. He does well with other dogs and cats who can handle his energy. Sixty has not had a lot of socialization and does not always respect social cues from other dogs. He should be supervised when with other animals. He has a hard time understanding boundaries with other dogs and would likely do better as the only one in the house. Sixty could live with another dog if his family is willing to manage his overarousal. He should not be left unattended outside of a crate.

Magnolia

Estimated age: 1 year
Size: Medium, 40 lbs
Gender: Female
Time at LV: 9 months
✅ Dog selective
✅ Cat friendly
❌ Kid friendly (Older kids maybe OK)
❌ House trained
⭐ Adoption fee sponsored

What my friends at Little Victories say about me:
Magnolia is a typical young pup with lots of energy. If not properly directed, she will find a way to entertain herself. She is a happy girl who sometimes can be nervous in new environments, but in general she is just a happy young dog looking for guidance.

The best kind of home for Magnolia:
Magnolia's family should be prepared to raise an adolescent dog. She is learning how to exist in the world, and she needs lots of guidance. She should not live with young children because of her nerves. She most likely would not do well with smaller dogs, as she has shown increased prey drive around them. Well-socialized dogs who are medium to large are her best companions, but Magnolia would do best as the only pet in the home. She is not house trained, but she does much better in a home environment than at the shelter.

Jax

Estimated age: 3 years
Size: Medium, 18 lbs
Gender: Male
Time at LV: 2 years
✅  Dog selective
❌ Cat friendly
❌ Kid friendly

✴️ Pre-approval required for meet-and-greet

What my friends at Little Victories say about me:
Jax had a hard start to his life and has had a rough time adjusting. He needs lots of time to get to know new people, usually requiring several patient meetings. But once he does trust you, he is sweet, playful, and cuddly. He has a lot of potential, but he will need a lot of guidance from his future family.

The best kind of home for Jax:
Jax is dog selective and should not live with children. He has shown fear aggressive behavior and needs a very experienced owner to help him through his distrust of new people and places. He would likely need professional help to be able to live in a home and requires pre-approval before a meet and greet. Jax is very food motivated and loves to play fetch in the playfield! He should meet any potential dog siblings before adoption. He is kennel trained and has not had any accidents while in our care.

Maci

Estimated age: 2 years
Size: Medium, 50 lbs
Gender: Female
Time at LV: 9 months
✅ Dog friendly
✅ Cat friendly
✅ Kid friendly

House trained
⚠️ Climbs fences, escapes most enclosures
⭐ Adoption fee sponsored

What my friends at Little Victories say about me:
Maci is a sweet dog who loves people, other dogs, and is good with cats. She has separation/confinement anxiety and will do most anything to get out of an enclosed area. LV is working to teach her crate manners, and will provide a strong, heavy-duty crate to her adopter. Her goofy face and great attitude can bring joy to any room. She loves playing with toys, exploring, and being wherever the people are.

The best kind of home for Maci:
Because of her severe separation/confinement issues, Maci could benefit from an experienced dog owner. Her future family will go home with a heavy-duty crate with which we have been working with her in hopes of coping with her anxiety. She does very well with other animals, but she should meet any other dogs in the home prior to adoption. She is great with kids and would love a forever family.

✅ Dog friendly
❌ Cat friendly
✅ Kid friendly
❌ House trained
⚠️ Requires long-term medication (hypothyroidism)
✴️ Available for permanent/long-term foster

What my friends at Little Victories say about me:
Miss B has had a wild journey in her time at Little Victories. But this awesome dog is more than her story! She is lovable, sweet, and great with kids. She has a great personality and loves to be around people. Little Victories is willing to continue her medical care for the duration of her life with a permanent or long-term foster.

The best kind of home for Miss B:
Miss B will be on thyroid medication for the rest of her life. She has lost a significant amount of weight, but she could use a family dedicated to helping her reach an even healthier size. She's not a fan of cats and will require a meet and greet with any dogs in the house. She love kids and would like a home with a family.

Cassius

Estimated age: 2 years
Size: Medium, 50 lbs
Gender: Male
Time at LV:  1 year
✅ Dog selective
❌ Cat friendly
✅ Older-kid friendly
❌ House trained

✅ Crate trained
⭐ In a foster home with a professional trainer

What my friends at Little Victories say about me:
Cassius is always happy to see everyone and is quite the little wiggle butt! He has come a long way since coming to LV as a stray a year ago. He can be very timid, but he learns to trust you very quickly. Based on info from his foster home, he does much better in a home setting than in a kennel environment.

The best kind of home for Cassius:
Cassius needs to meet any potential dog sibling and cannot live with cats. He does well with people he meets outside of his kennel and is starting to work on house training. He seems to do better in all aspects when in a home environment. Cassius is currently spending time as a foster with Destiny at Pawsitive Pup Training. He is learning basic obedience skills and building his confidence under the care of a professional.

Clementine

Estimated age: 11 years
Size: Large, 80 lbs
Gender: Female
Time at LV: 1 year
✅ Dog friendly
❌ Cat friendly
✅ Kid friendly
❌ House trained
⚠️
Needs a special diet for GI issues

What my friends at Little Victories say about me:
Clementine is a great senior dog! She's very mild mannered and sweet. Clem came to us when she was found abandoned in a park last Christmas, but she has always been very happy around people. She rides great in a car and would make a great companion in an easy-going home.

The best kind of home for Clementine:
Clementine is not house trained, so her future family should be willing to work on training her. She also has some gastrointestinal issues any potential adopter should be aware of. A consistent diet and probiotic supplements seem to keep her more regular. She cannot live with cats, but she would make a great addition to a slower household.

Jimmy

Estimated age: 2 years
Size: Large, 65 lbs
Gender: Male
Time at LV: 1 year
✅ Dog friendly
❌ Cat friendly
❌ Kid friendly

What my friends at Little Victories say about me:
Jimmy is young and FULL of energy. He would love to go home to an active family who can keep up with him. Jimmy is a happy dog who needs to do some real life living and training in a home. Jimmy is strong, so he needs someone who can handle his size and energy.

The best kind of home for Jimmy:
He's a large dog and needs a family that can give him proper exercise and attention. He could possibly live with older children but should not be around young kids. We are unsure if Jimmy is fully house trained, but he does do well in a kennel. He is very large and will pull down a person not prepared for his size. He needs to meet any other dogs in the home.

Yogi

Estimated age: 2 years
Size: Large, 72 lbs
Gender: Male
Time at LV: 1 year
✅ Dog selective
❌ Cat friendly
Older-kid friendly
❌ House trained
✴️ Pre-approval required for meet-and-greet
⭐ Adoption fee sponsored

What my friends at Little Victories say about me:
Yogi is sweet and happy once familiar, but he is wary of strangers and extremely nervous. He is very affectionate, but he needs someone to help guide him and build his confidence. Yogi would really benefit from the structured environment of a home, whether temporarily with a foster or forever with a family. He really is a very sweet dog if given patience and a chance.

The best kind of home for Yogi:
Yogi can live with other dogs, but he must be fed separately as he has shown signs resource guarding. He is very fearful around new people and is very uncomfortable with those who do not respect his space. He requires an experienced owner who can seek professional help to build his confidence. He is not quite house trained, but does well in a kennel environment. Any potential adopter must be pre-approved before meeting Yogi, and it may require several meetings before he can leave the farm.

Varric and Merrill

Estimated age: 8 years
Size: Medium
Gender: Female (pointy ears), Male (floppy ears)
Time at LV: 1 year
✴️ Bonded pair must stay together
✅ Dog selective

 Cat selective
 Older-kid friendly
✅ House trained

⚠️ Requires long-term medication (Varric - skin allergies)
⭐ Adoption fee sponsored

What my friends at Little Victories say about me:
Varric and Merrill (aka The Twins) are a bonded pair who cannot be separated. They have very different personalities to make one special duo! Varric is more reserved, preferring to sit on your lap and let you scratch his back. Merrill, though she loves a good scratch, could play fetch all day! They have big barks when new people approach, but they warm up very quickly and make friends with everyone they meet.

The best kind of home for Merrill and Varric:
Merrill and Varric must be adopted together. They require a meet and greet with any other dog in the house and would not do well with younger children. Varric has a major skin allergy and will require long-term medication. They both could benefit from some confidence building, as they are wary of strange sounds and object.

Pedro

Estimated age: 6 years
Size: Large
Gender: Male
Time at LV: 4 years
Dog selective
❌ Cat friendly
✅ Older-kid friendly
⚠️ Home visit may be required

What my friends at Little Victories say about me:
Pedro is a big guy who loves adults. He loves having lots of room to run and play. Pedro likes going for walks and playing with toy -- ball are his favorite! He loves rolling around on his back and, like most malamutes, will serenade you with his singing voice.

The best kind of home for Pedro:
Pedro needs a home without cats or small children, but he is OK with some other dogs (meet and greet required). He loves being outdoors! This big guy needs a strong owner who can handle his size. He is not suitable for apartment life and would do best with a securely fenced yard. If deemed necessary, he may require a home visit for adoption as one of our Sanctuary Sweethearts.

Dollie

Estimated age: 12 years
Size: Medium, 50 lbs
Gender: Female
Time at LV: 2 years
✅ Dog friendly
❌ Cat friendly
✅ Kid friendly
✅ Housetrained

What my friends at Little Victories say about me:
Dollie is one of the most even-tempered dogs at Little Victories. She deals well with loud, stressful environments, and loves nothing more than a back scratch... except maybe treats! She is still incredibly spunky for her age and would really make the best companion for just about anyone.

The best kind of home for Dollie:
Dollie will make a great dog in most homes. She cannot be in a home with cats. She also is very strong for her age/size and pulls on the leash, so her future family should be ready for a powerful pup. Dollie loves kids and does well with most other dogs, but a meet-and-greet is required.

Bart

Estimated age: 10 years
Size: Large, 95 lbs
Gender: Male
Time at LV: 4 years
Dog friendly
❌ Cat friendly
❌ Kid friendly
✅ House trained

What my friends at Little Victories say about me:
Bart loves doing his happy dance when it’s time to eat, loves taking sniffy walks, and enjoys lounging around in a big yard. He is a big, senior guy who won't require much in terms of energy burning. He does have a thick double coat that will need regular grooming to maintain.

The best kind of home for Bart:
Bart is a big goofy guy who would ideally love to be the only king in his castle. Although he could potentially live with select dogs, he needs an adopter experienced in dealing with food aggression and resource guarding. This could look like giving him his own room to eat/have special bones in or a crate. He is a semi-active guy who would do well in a laid back home.

Pablo

Estimated age: 6 years
Size: Medium, 45 lbs
Gender: Male
Time at LV: 5 years
✅ Dog selective
❌ Cat friendly
❌ Kid friendly
✅ House trained
✅ Crate trained

What my friends at Little Victories say about me:

Pablo is goofy and energetic. He always wants to play and can have fun with some other dogs, as long as he doesn't get too rough. He knows some simple commands and would be a great dog to teach. Pablo loves to play in water. He needs some direction learning to not play bite when overaroused, but he responds well to instruction and guidance.

The best kind of home for Pablo:
This boy is in need of an experienced adopter or foster who can manage his excited mouthiness. Pablo has been working on simple commands and would love for someone to further his training. He is high energy but also goofy and wants to play. Pablo is dog selective, so a meet and greet with the other dog is mandatory, but he plays well when other dogs match his energy.

Lucy

Estimated age: 12 years
Size: Medium, 55 lbs
Gender: Female
Time at LV: 11 years
Dog friendly
❌ Cat friendly
❌ Kid friendly
⚠️ May require home visit

What my friends at Little Victories say about me:
Lucy is very loving with adult humans, but she prefers to stay away from children and other animals. She is very food motivated. Lucy is a silly, sweet senior girl who has spent most of her life at Little Victories. She is calm for grooming and walks well on a leash.

The best kind of home for Lucy:
Lucy should be the only pet in an adult-only home. She has spent most of her time outside, so she is likely not house trained. She is a pretty low-key easy dog who would love a cozy place to live out her golden years. As one of our Sanctuary Sweethearts, Lucy may require a home visit before adoption if it is deemed necessary.

Gender: Female
Time at LV: 7 years
Dog friendly
❌ Cat friendly
Kid friendly
✅ House trained

What my friends at Little Victories say about me:
Sadie lives for attention and sneaking bites of your food. She has a loud bark and doesn't get along well with other dogs, but she makes a great office companion! Sadie is the queen of spunk. She is a senior, but she has lots of energy and loves to play.

The best kind of home for Sadie:
Sadie should live with other animals as she has had aggressive incidents with other dogs. She does well with adults, but she should not live with children. She is house trained and walks well on a leash.

Zuri

Estimated age: 11 years
Size: Large, 56 lbs
Gender: Female
Time at LV: 8 years
✅ Dog selective
❌ Cat friendly
❌ Kid friendly
❌ House trained
✅ Crate trained
✴️ Adoption fee sponsored

What my friends at Little Victories say about me:
Zuri is an excellent hiking or walking buddy! She loves car rides (especially sticking her head out of the sunroof) and going out for adventures. She is full of entertainment, and she loves having her ears rubbed!

The best kind of home for Zuri:
Zuri loves people, but she is not a fan of kitties. She is not house trained but she has done OK with crate training. Supervision will be key with her. She has tested well with some dogs, so any potential dog siblings she would need to meet. Due to her being with us for so long, she would do better in a semi-active, adult only home.

Selia

Estimated age: 12 years
Size: Medium, 45 lbs
Gender: Female
Time at LV: 12 years
Dog friendly
❌ Cat friendly
 Older-kid friendly
✅ House trained

⚠️ May require home visit

What my friends at Little Victories say about me:
Selia does very well with adults. She loves car rides and walking in the park, but she needs supervision around other dogs. With the right family, she could possibly live with another pup. She is a very smart senior dog! Selia has lived at Little Victories for a very long time, so the transition to a home environment would likely be a challenge.

The best kind of home for Selia:
Selia will need an adopter willing to supervise her with other dogs and children. As one of our Sanctuary Sweethearts, she may require a home visit for any potential adopters if deemed necessary. She has spent her entire life at Little Victories, so she will need an adjustment period in her future home.

Size: Large, 50 lbs
Gender: Female
Time at LV: 12 years
Dog selective
❌ Cat friendly
❌ Kid friendly
⚠️ Requires long-term medication (joints)

What my friends at Little Victories say about me:
Savannah is very timid around new people and things. This senior girl has spent nearly all of her life at Little Victories. Savannah is a very quiet, sweet dog who can be more reserved around new things. Once you get to know her, she is very sweet, clean, and soft!

The best kind of home for Savannah:
Savannah could potentially live with other dogs in the right environment. She would prefer a calmer, more low-key household. Savannah has spent most of her life at Little Victories, so adoption would require a transition period. She may require a home visit, if deemed necessary, to adopt.

Size: Large, 59 lbs
Gender: Female
Time at LV:  11 years
Dog selective
❌ Cat friendly
Kid friendly
✅ House trained

⚠️ May require home visit

What my friends at Little Victories say about me:
Pippa has been at Little Victories for 11 years. She loves kisses, belly rubs, and handshakes, but she needs time to warm up to strangers. Pippa likes short hikes, but she tires out fairly quickly. She is very good on a leash and loves to cuddle! She is house trained and has been through some obedience training.

The best kind of home for Pippa:
Pippa should not live with children but could live with another dog in the right situation. She would prefer a home where she does not have to be around strangers often, as they make her incredibly nervous. Pippa is one of our Sanctuary Sweethearts and may require a home visit if deemed necessary.

Fifi

Estimated age: 10 years
Size: XL, 93 lbs
Gender: Female
Time at LV: 8 years
Dog selective
❌ Cat friendly
Kid friendly
⚠️ Requires long-term medication (joints)

What my friends at Little Victories say about me:

Fifi is a big dog who loves to lounge around. Fifi is very loyal and has lots of love to give! She is a laid-back dog who loves to be outside. Fifi is the kind of dog who loves to ruin a good bath with a roll in the dirt. She can be standoffish, but warms up and is very lovable.

The best kind of home for Fifi:
Fifi mostly ignores other dogs around her in the sanctuary. She has lived at Little Victories for most of her life, so the adjustment to a forever family would be difficult for her. She loves to be outside and could live in a securely fenced outdoor area. Fifi has not had much if any experience with kids, so we do not recommend her to be around children. As one of our Sanctuary Sweethearts, a home visit my be required if deemed necessary.

Size: Large, 90 lbs
Gender: Male
Time at LV: 4 years
✅ Dog selective
❌ Cat friendly

❌ House trained
⚠️ Requires long-term medication (arthritis)

⚠️ May require home visit

What my friends at Little Victories say about me:
Bolt is a great senior boy who loves to go on adventures and car rides! He loves people and would do well with older children who respect his space. Bolt should be separated from other animals for feedings as he tends to resource guard his meals. His ideal life would be spent exploring a fenced-in yard. This big, sweet boy needs a place to spend the rest of his life in comfort.

The best kind of home for Bolt:
Bolt would do best as an only pet. He's a big, senior dog who takes medication for arthritis twice a day. Bolt would love a home with a big fenced yard to explore. He may require a home visit, if deemed necessary, to adopt. As an older dog, he does best with people who respect his space.

✅ Dog selective
❌ Cat friendly
❌ Kid friendly

✅ House trained
⚠️ Special needs (Deafness)

Sasha is always happy to see people she knows in the morning! Because she can't hear you coming, you can often catch her in the cutest positions snoozing away without a care in the world. She has spent most of her life at Little Victories, so the transition to a home environment would likely be very difficult for her.

The best kind of home for Sasha:
Sasha is deaf and needs a family that can handle a special-needs senior. She needs a house with no kids, but she could possibly live with another dog if the environment is correct. Sasha has done well in a kennel. As one of our Sanctuary Sweethearts, Sasha may require a home visit if deemed necessary.

Willie

Estimated age: 14 years
Size: Medium, 56 lbs
Gender: Male
Time at LV: 14 years
✅ Dog selective
 Cat friendly
❌ Kid friendly
⚠️ May require home visit

What my friends at Little Victories say about me:
Willie is LV's oldest resident. He has spent most of his 14 years of life on our farm, so it is the only home he's really ever known. Willie spent most of his life with his best friend, Wiggles, who has since passed. Willie just hasn't been the same since. He is used to his life with us and spends most of his days hanging out on his porch. But finding a comforting place to live out his days would be a game changer for Willie.

The best kind of home for Willy:
Willie needs to be the only pet in the home. He is a senior, so any potential owner should be prepared to care for him through the rest of his life. Willie has lived in our sanctuary for more than 14 years, so transitioning to a home life may be difficult.

Size: Large, 68 lbs
Gender: Female
Time at LV: 12 years
Dog friendly
Cat friendly
 Kid friendly

What my friends at Little Victories say about me:
Tigger is an older dog who has lived at LV for most of her life. She knows very basic commands (sit, stay, walk nicely on a leash) and is house trained. She wants to be spoiled as the only pet in a home!

The best kind of home for Tigger:
Tigger must be an only pet in an adult-only home. She may require a home visit for adoption.
